A large portion of the “trad con” influencers who call themselves Christians are a brood of vipers - as Jesus called the Pharisees. It’s that simple. They use the Bible to shame others instead of encourage. Knock others down to elevate themselves, and quarrel with the masses when they were commanded by God not to do so.
In other words, the people who think they are exemplifying God’s Will, are much more sinful than the people they point the finger at. Because they know the Word and they choose to ignore it.
The Gray Matter will publish a series to dissect the actions and words of the social media influencers attempting to usurp the movement - but really are an acting in a manner that is an affront to God.
If they don’t stop - God will hold them accountable.
The sad reality is, these so-called men and women of God actually believe they are solid Christians doing the Lord’s work. However, their actions are actually abhorrent.
Nobody should follow or support these people.
The Whatever podcast is a prime example of The Bible verse that proclaims, you will know them by their fruit.
The men on the show quarrel with a group of women - a few of whom are believers but mostly are not. Most of the women perform on Only Fans or engage in a similar behavior and do not claim to be followers of Christ.
Nala, who was a regular on the show, had an Only Fans account but later was led to Christ and renounced her old ways.
Yet, eight months later, after she repented and Jesus forgave her sins, no more to be remembered, one of the men took it upon himself to remember for Jesus.
He called the new Christian a whore because of her past. He also accused her and others like her of infiltrating the church. This woman took down her Only Fans, got married, and now studies the Word of God.
But even for the women still engaging in that behavior, would shaming them make them feel the love of Christ?
Telling people their lifestyle is destructive can be, and should be done, in a loving tender hearted manner.
The quarrelsome actions of these men is about as anti-Christ as it gets.
“Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you” - Ephesians 4:32
Let all you do be done in love” Corinthians 16:14
But their actions and words are not rooted in love. They are rooted in quarrelsome behavior - which is also a sin.
In fact one of the men actually says in the video that his favorite Bible verse says better to live in a corner than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.
But had he actually read the Bible, he would see that God feels the same way about men who also quarrel.
These “mighty men and women of God” daily get on social media and quarrel with other believers and unbelievers. They use “shock jock” tactics to draw attention.
But the Bible says not to argue.
“Don’t have anything to do with foolish and stupid arguments, because you know they produce quarrels. And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but must be kind to everyone, able to teach, not resentful.” 2 Timothy 2:23-26
But avoid foolish controversies, genealogies, dissensions, and quarrels about the law, for they are unprofitable and worthless. Titus 3:9
God literally says not to argue about His law - and that is exactly what these people do daily.
Jesus says those who “do” my will are my people.
Yet these conmen argue in front of the world, insult unbelievers and believers, are cold and mean spirited - all things God says are abhorrent to him.
Stay tuned for part two - should women not work outside the home and remain quiet on spiritual matters? If you listen to the trad conmen the answer is yes. If you ask God, the answer is, no.
